The oldest Metal festival in the Iberian Peninsula, Mangualde Hardmetalfest returns on January 10, 2026 for the 31st Edition. The headliners will be the Swedish band THE CROWN, who will make their debut in Portugal presenting their recent album "Crown of Thorns".

Other headliners are the black/thrashers DESTROYER 666 who have a large fan base in Portugal. Making their absolute debut in Portugal will be the Germans DARKNESS and WARRANT who will delight speed/thrash metal fans. TYSONDOG will be the name of nwobhm just like the Swedes DOOMHERRE the standard bearers of doom for lovers of the Candlemass/Black Sabbath school. Another debut in Portugal is one of the most interesting proposals in current Black Metal, ASAGRAUM, made up of female elements.
