Manuel
Mesquita presents a recital focused on the expressive depth of the classical
guitar, highlighting Suite Goivos (1924) by Francisco de Lacerda. Dedicated to
Andrés Segovia, the work blends impressionist elements with a refined and
personal language. Mesquita began his studies at the S. José da Guarda Music
Conservatory and is currently completing his Master’s degree at the Mozarteum
in Salzburg, having received awards in several national and international
competitions.
